Bought it for my 6yr old niece, she loves it, just wish the lip gloss was many so "gooey" or they had more applicators. Also needs a bigger mirror

I'm a little disappointed with this purchase. The box is kind of mangled and it has obviously been opened. The brushes are actually falling apart just sitting there in the box. My niece is only 4 so I'm sure those things won't matter but I will be on the embarrassed side giving this to her.

I tried to apply the makeup with the brushes included in this set but the brushes fell apart before I had a chance to apply the first application. I tried to use my own brush but the makeup was completely dry. A little sad girl. I would not recommend this set

First of all I need to say that I bought this for my granddaughter who is 3 and she loves it! I purchased this specific one because it was noted on the Amazon site that it was non-toxic however no where on the box does it make this claim. The trays on each side holding the lip gloss and eyeshadows do not slide out easily and they are hard to close. I was afraid if I put too much pressure they would break. That may be a good thing because she would need parent supervision to use it. The application brushes are very cheaply made. The first time she used the lip gloss wand it came apart. I happen to have a small travel brush set so I gave this to her to use for her play makeup. I not sure what I was expecting at this price point but again she loved it and that is all that matters.

My daughter loves it but the drawers on either side are plastic and get stuck, I usually have to help her open and close them. The eyeshadow brush broke her first time using it so good thing I have extra in my makeup bag! She loves the glitter glosses the best and the blushes have a rose imprint in them she likes.

My 4 year old loves this and even used the yellow eye shadow to create her version of Joy--the character from Inside Out. The drawers are easy to open and shut for small young hands. The applicators work great for beginners...there's enough glitter for her liking...it stuck to her and not my furniture...I'm very satisfied with this product and will buy again.

My daughter had an allergic reaction to this makeup, causing her eyes to swell up. So be careful if your daughter has any allergies or sensitivities. However, that isn't the company's fault: so I give this three stars. The case was cute and my daughter was excited. There isn't a lot of makeup, and the glittery stuff is so thick it's basically useless. But the eye shadows and blushes were a bit hit (for about an hour...before her eyes start d puffing up!).

We bought this for our daughter's 5th birthday. It was easily one of her favorite presents. She is able to pull out the side compartments with no problem. I like that they snap in making the case compact enough for her to carry in her purse when it's closed. The mirror isn't all that great, but when you're 5 you really don't care about things like that - and this is inexpensive so we weren't expecting it to be professional quality of course. She has given several "makeovers" already. ;)

Was hesitant to buy makeup for many years (worried about sending the wrong message) but we were ready. This is not great quality makeup but it's cute and that kind of the point, right? It's just for fun. And this set is fun. It's pink and has a big mirror and pull out drawers on the sides. Fun fun. My almost 7 year old just loved this. It was fun helping her learn how to put it on using her little brushes. I let her do it without much help and she loved it. She put it on for two days in a row and then tucked it away. Hasn't gone nuts with it like I imagined.Just a heads up. I told her which brushes to dip in the wet stuff bs the dry stuff. I had to explain to her that the gooey stuff in the circles was probably gonna be harder to smooth on evenly and ask her not to lie down on the furniture with it on her face, but otherwise I just let her play and she loved it. We cleaned it off with a rag easily at night. Very cute.

This is such a cute set! Real brushes, compacts that open, lipstick you can twist up and down. It is exactly what I was looking for--all of the fun of playing make up, but none of the mess. This was bought as a stocking stuffer but was actually my daughter's favorite Christmas present.

Received it packaged in clear plastic wrap. The brushes are extremely soft, like they'd be professional. The touch of the pallets, as said in other reviews, makes it feel as if its real. My daughter likes to put water in the pretend nail polish container. She loves it!

One of my 3 year old daughters MOST loved Christmas presents. Very high quality, perfect for a toddler wanting to "play" with mommy's makeup. She loves the soft brushes and has been trying to put makeup on our dog. That is the beauty of this pretend set, NO real makeup to clean up.
